Country Gang

Three hunters this morning. (The third was off to the right, his nose buried in hay and dandelion puff, sniffing for voles.)

coyotes in hay field

Coyotes.

Two friends have lost dogs to coyotes this year. Our dogs have tangled with them.

If one of these furry guys asks your dog to come play, intervene. Fast.

(You have any run-ins with ’em?)

  1. YES, the night before Chad and Gloria’s wedding rehearsal our sweet Heidi Dog got snatched by a coyote right by our garage.😢

  2. We see one or two in our neighborhood. With dense houses you wouldn’t think they would come so close, but it is easy pickin”. Kelli has them on the farm always. They lose cats often. We always hear them at night when we visit. We are on our way today for Madison’s graduation Saturday. Where does the time go?
