Juvenile bald eagle flies low over field
As the rest of the herd crowded around for Agnes’ arrival, a juvenile eagle and his dad watched from the trees. Once Agnes was walking, they swooped low for the calf’s afterbirth & hauled it to the next field.

Cotyledons-filled tissue snagged on the fence, but a later clean-up crew got that. (You’ll meet them tomorrow.)
